Left on Market

The other half of your session.

Small, focused tools for the recording session workflows your DAW forgot to cover.

Tools that connect to your session, not lock you into it.

The creative process doesn’t just happen when you are at your computer staring at your DAW.  We build tools with an emphasis on open platforms to solve problems at your desk, on the go, and anywhere in between.

LyricBinder Singer view as a full-screen teleprompter, showing the current chorus in large serif type with the bar number and an up-next line at the bottom.

LyricBinder

Your lyrics, synced to the transport — right inside your DAW.

Point it at a Markdown file or a Google Doc, map the sections to bars, and hit play. Sections come straight from the headings you already wrote. The words keep pace with the music, and edits in your editor land in the plugin live.

I wanted to be able to continue to create and iterate on lyrics outside the DAW while easily keeping them synced on the timeline when it's ultimately time to track the vocals.

The reason LyricBinder exists

The short answers.

macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later, Apple Silicon or Intel, and any VST3 or Audio Unit host — Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton Live, Reaper or Studio One. A Windows build is finished and tested, but distribution has to go through Microsoft, so it isn’t out yet. Pro Tools (AAX) is still on the roadmap. Get notified when they’re out.
No. LyricBinder reads the host’s transport — bar, beat, tempo, play state — and draws text. It touches no audio and adds no latency to your signal path. Think of it as a teleprompter that knows exactly where you are in the song.
Wherever you already write them. LyricBinder reads a Markdown file on disk or a Google Doc you connect, and it never changes your file on its own. Google Docs are always read-only, and a built-in edit mode is there if you want to make changes in the plugin. Save a change in Obsidian, Notes or any editor, and the plugin picks it up live.

Purchases include all updates for the current version of the plugin (i.e. 1.x).  Any future major version updates will include significant new functionality with a substantial upgrade discount offered to all current license holders.

By default, nothing. Anonymous usage stats are strictly opt-in and can be switched off again at any time from the About panel. They never include your lyrics, section names, file names or paths, or your Google account. Full detail is in our privacy policy.

Put your lyrics on the playhead.

LyricBinder is available now for macOS — signed, notarized, and it installs like any other Mac app.
